Respect for Sustainable Tourism

Being mindful of our environment, guests and staff are expected to be aware of the fragile ecosystems in which we travel, being careful of water usage, waste and electricity. We want to leave every location better than we found it for future visitors.

Respect for Fellow Travelers

Our retreats include a diverse crowd and all guests are expected to respect each others’ personal space, belongings and views.

Respect for Local Culture

It is very important to be respectful of the cultures that so kindly welcome our retreats. We travel to these locations to take in culture and hope guests will respect the unique dynamic of each destination.

Guest Participation

The retreat itinerary is completely optional for guests, while we encourage participation to make the most of your time on retreat, we do understand that your time away is precious. Therefore our retreat fitness program, meals and excursions are all up to you to join if you wish.

Partner Retreat Conduct

Instructors or group leaders are expected to behave in a professional manner, accommodating their guests and working well with the Paraiso support team.

Partner Team Conduct

Partner are expected to communicate clearly with the Paraiso staff, via email and phone prior to the retreat, and in staff meetings during retreat production.

Changes to Itinerary

Any changes to the itinerary whatsoever must be approved by the retreat coordinator ahead of time. This means no last minute changes to class schedule, menu, transportation or excursions.

Paraiso Adventures respects your privacy and will not sell or distribute your personal information. We will need to collect information from you to better assist you and customize your travel experience with Paraiso. The website or a Paraiso Adventures representative will collect this information. The information is used to custom design your wellness travel with accuracy and mindfulness. The payment information is only used per transaction and will not be held on file.

This includes health forms and waivers, forms of payment including cash, check, credit card, wire transfer, email address and name for eNewsletter subscriptions and full personal and passport information when booking trips with Paraiso.

We will never distribute your personal information, you can update your profile with Paraiso Adventures representative at any time by contacting info@ParaisoAdventures.com.

Things Beyond Our Control

Changes to Our Program: We will make effort to operate all retreats as disclosed on the website and brochures. However, circumstances beyond our control may arise which would require an adjustment to the tour, its inclusions or the staff accompanying the trip. We will do all that is possible to avoid such changes but we must reserve the right to make such modifications.

Weather Contingencies: For the safety of our guests schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions.

Location Change: If something is wrong with our location we can change to a place of equal or grater quality/value (utility, structural issues, etc)

Guests

Mandatory Guest Information: We require that all guests and teachers joining us on the retreat provide a copy of their passport, complete and sign our health waiver and send retreat coordinator flight itineraries in a timely manner.

Deposit: Guests must place a nonrefundable deposit of $500 per person to hold their place on a retreat. The remaining balance for guests is due one month prior to the trip.

Transportation: Airport transportation for guest and teacher flights arriving before or after the stated time frame will be subject to additional charges.

Privacy: Paraiso Adventures respects your privacy and will not sell or distribute your personal information.

Age Limitations: Retreats have a strict age minimum of 15 years old. Private trips are exempt of this policy.

Partners

Travel Plans: Teachers are required to arrive one day before the guests to settle and contribute.

Preparing: Teachers are required to submit a wellness program to retreat coordinator a minimum of two weeks prior to retreats.

Communication: Partners are expected to communicate frequently with Paraiso staff. Email and phone are our preferred methods of communication.

Event Changes: Any changes to the event made by the partner within a month of production will result in additional charges.

Additional Staff: All staff will be provided by Paraiso management, additional staff will be required to participate in an interview and screening process, only to be hired at the discretion of Paraiso Adventures, LLC.

Partner Deposit

Retreat Refund Policy: The retreat deposit is nonrefundable. Partners receive the deposit back once retreat produces the minimum occupancy. If retreat is canceled within two months of trip for any reason teacher/studio is financially responsible the minimum revenue mentioned in the partner package and deposit is not refunded.

Payment

Deposit: An initial deposit is due from both teachers and guests to hold a trip.

Forms of payment accepted: Paraiso Adventures accepts cash, checks, Venmo, wire transfers and all major credit cards.

Additional Clarifications

Excursions: Each retreat listing includes two days if scheduled outings. Optional excursions and spa treatments are the financial responsibility of the guest.

Transportation: Rt airport is included as well as included excursions. If guests wish to further explore the area we will be happy to coordinate that with you, however the transportation is the financial responsibility if the guest.

Additional Retreat Requests: If group leader or instructor wishes to add on to the retreat menu or services they will be billed accordingly (i.e. including massages, adding alcohol, adding meat/seafood, additional group excursions, dance classes, etc.).
