Todos Santos, hometown of our founder, Nina, is a quiet little sanctuary in Baja California Sur. In English, Todos Santos translates to “All Saints”. Revered for it’s pueblo magico, this unique locale is known for its natural beauty, cultural wealth, and historic importance. On Sunday, Sept 14, 2014 this peaceful haven was hit by a devastating hurricane. The storm left massive destruction in its wake, leveling houses to the ground and leaving the town without water and electricity. Local stores have been depleted of clean drinking water, food items, and supplies, and the people of Todos Santos are facing grave times as they struggle to put their town back together again.
Through this trying time, The Palapa Society (a local community group) is putting together a drive to raise money for the hurricane relief efforts. At Paraiso HQ, we are doing our best to spread awareness, increase communication, send aid, and support the Todos Santos Community that is so near and dear to our hearts. Our thoughts and positivity go out to the people of Todos Santos. We send our love and wish for a quick recovery from the storm’s destruction.
